Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm new to quads and have just bought myself a Quattro-X RTF model. Have used it a couple of times with a GoPro and was pretty impressed. Flight times are only about 8-9 mins with the camera, and I expect this will drop when I put the gimbal on.
I haven't found any reference to anyone else owning one of these on here. I think they are probably going to put a dent in DJI Phantom sales in the UK as they are so cheap yet still have all the GPS functions that a newbie would want.
If I get on with the quad and enjoy using it then I'd like to do a self build and ultimately progress to FPV flying. But always with the camera attached! It's seeing all that stuff from a few hundred feet up that gives me a real buzz!
Hoping to get some good advice on all relevant topics!
