HELP!!!!-No Output from Control Board

Hello Fellas,
I am working on my first quadrocopter, however i am having hard time at the very first step;
'NO RESPONSE' from control board. I am on the very first step, which testing the equipment if they work or not. It seems like, boards gets signal from remote controller (i can see that on the controller display), but there is no out put from control board.
Current setup for the test purposes is like below;
-receiver is connected to control board (all channels), and receiving signal
-ESC is connected to Out1, there is no output
-ESC is connected to a DC voltage source, which feeds 19V dc, and ESC feeds the control board (note; over 19V dc, control board shut off)
-If i connect the ESC to other out ports, board does not lit up

On the very first try, i connected a motor to ESC, since it did not work, i stated checking the voltage back on the lines, and it seems like control board does not activate the ESC.

Below list is the items that i bought for my first project.
1-Controller

I would like to get at least some out put from the control board.

I appreciate for any ideas!!!

Does the control board appear to have any power (lights or anything)? Also has it ever worked, or did it die after flashing it? How are you connecting everything, can you provide a diagram or picture with annotations?

Yes, Control board appears to have power, this is how i set up the settings for quadrocopter, Also i was able to check the receiver settings. I am not feeding the controller from the power pins on the controller (please see attached pics), but the ESC seems to feed the controller properly up to 19 V dc (i am able to control the DC voltage source ).
-Control board receives signal from remote controller, however there is no output. ( the display is on, this is how i see the settings)

were you able to arm the board from the tx ? The ESC's won't do anything unless its armed. Any errors showing on the home page on the controller ?

I'd first check you've got the right voltage on the board, should be 5V on both the receiver bus and ESC output 1 (those are linked, Outputs 2-8 are on a different bus which isn't linked, which is why you can only power up using output 1). Then check all the tests in the controller menu - receiver test, sensor test, output sliders, gyro bubble, acc bubble. Manual for the flashed firmware is here

I agree with both statements; regarding the 19v DC I am confused that is why I asked about a diagram. Are you using a step-up power supply or 6S battery? Also why/where do you feel you need 19v?

My excuses! Let me clear out this part.
I have not purchased the 6S batteries yet. Thus, i am trying to test the equipment with external DC power source(please see attched pic), which can be set up to certain DC voltage.
The reason why i mentioned about 19V dc is;
-since the external DC source feeds the control board through ESC (please see previous pics), control board shuts off if the voltage exceed 19V dc.
I will power up the system with 6S batteries, after i verify everything works properly.

At the very first time, i connected the motors to ESCs, however it did not start up. This is why i started troubleshooting the lines back to control board.
on the other hand, the ESC is not connected to a motor, but ESC is connected to Out1 on the control board (signal cable), and to external DC power source.
-There is no error on the control board display.
-I checked the test, receiver, sensors etc which works.
-I did not power the control board with 5V dc from power pins on the control board. Control boards comes up when i connected the ESC to external power source

Wires should be connected properly on the board. Black (neutral), yellow (signal), red (+), and the pins are labeled at the back side of the board.

so the two thick wires on the ESC go to the battery, which should be around 12V (not 19V, you're likely to fry it). The three thick wires connect with the motor (doesn't matter which wire connects with which at this stage, you can swap them round later to get the right rotation direction), and the three thin wires ending in the plug connect to output 1 on the board, with the yellow wire inward. The receiver inputs all connect on the left side of the board, yellow wires inward.

Once you have it wired like that and connect the battery, the board should power up and you'll see the home page. The ESC has a voltage step-down so is powering the board at 5V.

The motor won't spin yet, but if there are no errors showing, then you should be able to arm the board - move the transmitter left stick to the bottom right (0 throttle, full right yaw) and the board should beep, show a red LED and show 'ARM'. Then if you raise the throttle slightly, the motor should start spinning up.

Don't do this with props on, if you value your fingers !

Another thing, if you are not powering the ESCs with a LiPo battery it is likely you are not going to have the amperage required. Sure the board may power up, but the motors are NOT going to spin up. Most wall adaptors are 100mA to 1000mA, a common LiPo battery will give easily 100A (10,000mAh) usually more.

If the above is true a Lithium Ion Polymer battery will fix your problem, be sure to get one with a reasonable a capasity and C rate.

These ESCs should support up to 6S (at least this is what the seller claims) which must be okay up to 24 V.
But from above explanations, the problem is related with the external DC power supply it seems like. Because i have never tried to power up with batteries.
I appreciate to you, gentlemen; GJH105775, and glowingturnip.
I will need to order batteries, then i will leave a comment how it goes.
