^^ that is just slightly nicer version of the radio I've been using for a while and is good for beginners and should be good for the long haul. Learning to do initial setup requires watching some vids but usually couple 5minute clips and can have a model setup in the radio and bound to the receiver (sometimes second part takes few tries)
The sticks use hall sensors to read the position instead of potentiometers so should last long and the firmware/software on it is openTX which is open source and has a "openTX companion" desktop utility for backing up firmware or models setup and doing more advanced flashing of the firmware to newer versions if you ever want to switch to some newer protocol (like elrs that's in the works or crossfire or ghost protocols)
