Hi all
Pretty much a newbie here. I was into RC cars many moons ago, and had a brief encounter with helicopters a few years back, nothing massive, worked my way up to an indoor fixed pitch model, but kept getting cocky and couldn’t justify the repair bills. I also changed my job and didn’t have the time for them.
I bought a second hand parrot AR 2.0, just before Christmas, it should have been sold as spares and repairs really, but I managed to fix it up and get it flying, but to be honest it’s quite dated and I’m starting to get board of it.
I’m in the process of making a shopping list, so I can build my first quadcopter. I’m hopping for something between a racer/freestyle model and hoping for something that will be able to get some nice footage of my outdoor adventures. Where I live I’m surrounded by beautiful scenery and I quite often just go and get myself lost for a few days either on foot, in my kayak or my 4x4.
Really glad I found this forum I have joined another one but it’s very quiet with very little content
