I am very new quadcopter, or anything else that flies. My Christmas present was a "mini orion" quad computer that my wife got for me. It's a toy for sure, but so far it is a lot of fun. When I can keep it in the yard that is. Ok, even then its fun.
It came with a 720p FPV camera, but with all of the vibration it is near useless. Just as a test I put my SJCam 4000 under it (velcro straps). Not to record, but to see if it could lift it. Not much success there.
The box says six minutes of flight time, and that is just about accurate. Though I have extended that to nearly 10 by removing the camera. It takes about an hour and forty five minutes to charge the battery with the supplied USB charger. Because of that I am looking at probably buying more batteries and a multi port charger. (I have been googling this stuff like mad between charges)
So anyway, that's a lot for an intro. I don't want to seem like it's a rant. Glad I found this forum
