Has anyone tried these motors?

Yup I got some, I actually paid less thru eBay auctions. The last one cost me $4.04 shipped. I modded them slightly, grinding down (shortening) the shaft so that the prop adapter sits right on the bell now with a small dab of epoxy (to help avoid any shaft bending). So far after ~ 25 flights the first two are working fine on my tricopter, one had to be replaced after a couple of hard crashes. I've had less luck with my tail servos. :) I've oiled the bearings twice. I had 5 in all for a total cost ~$24. I guess they are a bit of crapshoot but for that kinda money...

Hahaha, yeah i found some motors auction at $2 range, but the shipping cost is way more than the price of the motor, some even cost $7 just for shipping cost. I think i'm gonna buy 8pcs, 6 for the hexa and 2 for spares, i found a seller from hongkong for $6.70 each and free shipping, maybe gonna buy some 30amp simon k esc as well

Wow ok, now i'm definitely gonna buy those escs,
One more thing, there is a lot of apm version i found on ebay (2.6 / 2.8 / 3.1 etc)
What are the differences between the version?
