H4 Hornet Version 7 is finally finished!

Well. I have finally completed my year long goal. After six complete builds and modifications to my original H4 Hornet Frame I think I have completed my project. I have these frames cut out at a laser shop near me, test fly, make changes and go back for a redesign. I have put a lot of effort into this project but it is cool to know that something you have drawn up in your head has become reality. So any way, Here you go. My H4 Hornet V7

I put two rails on the top to hold my Tarot 2 Gimbal System and GoPro Hero 3 camera. It has the DJI Naza M-Lite with GPS, 570 KV Turnigy Motors, 12X4.5 Carbon Fiber Blades, Futaba 7C Transmitter, 900 Mhz 500 mW Video Transmitter, 1,300 mW Lipo Baterry for Video and Camera Gimbal, and an 8,000 mW Lipo 4 Cell for flight battery.

Sorry, It has 30 Amp ESC's. The frame is of my own design available only from me on my website but I don't have any for sell yet. I just finished this and test flew yesterday. The camera feed is incredible and stable when you play it back.

My friend who is the man who works for the laser shop has one as well. He got his built two days prior to mine and took it up to 1000 feet. I told him he was crazy and then he said he was going for 2000 next time because his battery will only allow for that by his calculations from the 1000 foot test. I have flown my version 6 in -3 degrees and it flew great but the cold effects the camera gimbal.

What does it weigh all up with everything on it, including go-pro? You guys figure how much flight time you're getting yet?

By the way, the frame looks amazing! Do you have any pictures of the frame without all of the other components strapped on?

The quadcopter in this picture weighs 5.3 pounds fully loaded and the flight time is in between 15 to 20 minutes depending on aggressive flying or smooth flight. I will try to get a photo of the frame for you but it will have to wait till I get a new one cut out.

Nice! I really like the touch of orange on the support pieces on your fully built one. It makes it look very distinct.

My first one I did in yellow and it was very cool but the battery was orange so it stuck out. This is a picture of it before putting the top piece on. The arms were a prototype of mine and they were cool but they just weren't study enough for me. Waste of $45.00 for design and cut out fee. I might try another type soon.

I just finished a H4 Hornet V6 tonight. So now I have one of each to show people when interested. Here is a picture of the Version 6 next to the V7 and then some photos of just V6.
