I am unaware of a GPS tracker but amain hobbys carries a $8.00 lost aircraft alarm. It is made by Protek RC. After your quad goes down you turn of your Tx and it starts beeping and will keep beeping as long as it has power. Might do the trick. I have never seen one in real life so I can't vouch for it. I imagine with the small amount of draw it will beep for hours.
Do you know if it is self powered, and does it need a signal to arm? My only concern is if the main battery gets throw off of the quad in a crash scenario. The one I lost had to have thrown the battery since the radio lost signal and the goggles went to static.
Hi I second what Jackson has linked you to loc8tor is really good self powered and once you buy the first one you just add senders to the other models you have so they are all fitted with it
Thanks for the advice, and these look good, but I think I want something that has GPS tracking. I may be able to use the loc8tor along side my Taranis gps, but if I fly out of range, and lose radio signal then it may not help.
