Hi folks. Newbie here. I currently own a Bebop 2. I hate the video quality, the often times shakey wifi signal and poor FPV imaging. However, I love flying it and it's convinced me that I should upgrade.
I've been looking closely at the DJI Mavic Pro. From what I'm seeing on YouTube as well as on the forums, it should address all of the cons that I mentioned above. 4K camera and a much more reliable signal. It looks like the FPV is far superior as well.
The only thing that's keeping me from pulling the trigger is the apparently very annoying Geo fencing. I'm hearing lots of negative feedback with regard to the limits built into the firmware. If it weren't for the wifi isues I'd just buy the Anafi.
Hoping to hear from DJI owners with regard to their take on the Geo Fencing. Does it interfere with your flights or filming plans?
How's your FPV image?
I live in the United States, New England. There's a small grass runway airfield within a mile of my home. Would the DJI Geo Fencing keep me from making low altitude flights from my yard?
Any advice, insight or experiences that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
