My gopros and x3 all split at 4gb. I think it is due to NTSF formatting, and not really the camera. I think FAT will allow larger than 4gb.

I just noticed your is 500megs so that may in-fact be your camera. What file system are you formatting to?

I just went through a bunch of recordings and its actually between 300-500 mb

Well are they consecutive? You could use something like Windows Movie Maker (free) and join them and edit.

Its at fat32. I'll try NTSF tomorrow and see if it changes. Yeah, it splits around 500 megabytes which is a little over 3 minutes from what I'm seeing in the files. And that doesn't make sense either? I just went through a bunch of recordings and its actually between 300-500 mb for the same time distance? Something is weird here.
