Hi, i am doing some research for my friend who is a keen pilot looking for a quadcopter. He has experience with real helicopters and simulators and has a clear idea about the experience he wants from flying a quad, but to date we have not been able to find a setup that ticks all the boxs. The ability to look around with responsive and smooth head tracking is an absolute must without any limitation in movement. The second factor is the manouverability of the quad. Full manoeuvrability is prefered as opposed to limitation on pitch/yaw/roll etc or stability control that permanantly interferes with flight. The final factor is the budget, he is looking to spend around 1000 gbp / 1200 dollars.
He is keen on the dji phantom 4 pro and has been looking in to it, but its looking like this one doesn't meet his requirements. I have a gut feeling there is a d.i.y setup that can be built that meets his needs but am not to knowledgable with quads. If anybody can recommend a setup it would be greatly appreciated.
