FPV googles for Hubsan 501

So I've been enjoying flying this quad, but I'm not digging the tiny little screen on the radio. I was hoping to get a head start learning to fly FPV. So when I'm at altitude it's difficult to make out enough details to orient myself, and when I'm closer to the ground I'm worried I'll miss obstacles.

I'm thinking my next purchase is going to be some goggles like the eachine googles 2, or ev100, or maybe super cheapy ev008? Any of those recommended? Think that will help me out?

Personally I wouldn't get any of them.
I still have ev800, the range is crud.
I use the Quanum V2 & an immersionRC Duo. The goggles are light & the Vrx is on a pole while I sit in a chair, not worried about my head/antenna placement.
If you don't intend paying out hundreds of bucks for some glyphs or fatsharks then IMO my cheap setup is about the best you could get for being cheap.
The RC Duo 4.1 was £80 & the V2's were £30 for the upgraded kit. Deck chair £7 I reckon if I tried I could get about 2km+
Im happy with 400'x500m @ my local golf course or park.

Probably a dumb question but the radio has video out socket, could the Quanum V2s just be plugged to that?

If it says video out then probably, but the V2 needs its own power supply. 2-4S lipo.
It would be worth getting the V2 just to try. Worst situation is it doesn't & then all you have to buy is a vRx.
Mine was 80 quid but you can pick em up for around $20 & just as good as the eachine goggles. Does it work off WiFi what you have now.? Or 5.8ghz

I use Aomway Commanders. LOVE THEM. Range is pretty good, ive controller range failed and seen it in screen all the way down. screen inside is perfect. IMO if the screen is to large or more importantly if the screen gets to far into your peripheral vision, you will experience even more motion sickness. cost about $300-$350 US. Has a fan for fogging problems and pupil distance adjustments (side to side not depth). Video out, and the S-port for head control features. The DVR is good. you can see example here. The end of the video is great example of these. My gopro fell off during the tree trials and i didnt notice so the last half is Aomway DVR

Ive also noticed that the feed I fly by looks better than the dvr. lots of those digital noise lines werent there live and were only small static spots.
Second thing I noticed in this video. Its a good example of what a damaged and slowly dying battery looks like. If you look after the last crash when it changes to dvr only ive put my last battery in and its my oldest and heaviest. 3s 5200 35c. It was damaged in wreck that bent the back portion. its now slightly swollen. The normal flying seems to have plenty of power left but as soon as you floor it the battery starts flashing. This relationship continues till it wont even hover without showing low battery even though sitting on the ground looks full.

People buy the fatshark style goggles not thinking about IPD.
I would prefer them but can't get a match for my ipd of 72mm. I'm happy with my setup anyway.
