Fogging fpv goggles

guys have any ideas for an anti fog fan for my quanum v2s? We had lots of rain and humidity this week. I gotma chance to fly today. In a minute or so I was all fovged up. At that point I realized Im going to have issues with fogging all summer. We have very humid summers in MN.

OK, so I've read about this before. The fogging is caused by the difference in temperature of your body and the goggles. Put the googles on top of your head for 15 or 20 minutes before you fly and they will equalize with your body temp and theoretically prevent fogging. I've also read that guys poke small holes around the rubber cups which allows for air circulation. But this is with Phatsharks, don't know if the design allows this with Quanums. Or get a monitor

It will be interesting what to see what folks think of the new $150 Eachine HD goggles when they show up. A complete package with lotsa nice little features.

Keep in mind for the fan to work right some vents to let air IN shoud be added. Think how roofs and computer cases work.

My plan is to take the foam out of the side my quantum V2s where the lense adjuster is and mount this fan to the side and see if it works. If that doesn't work Im going to cut a square hole in the bottom and mount it there.

I'm thinking of hooking it up direct to a 3s lipo, but does anyone think I should have a resistor or something in series?

Opinions and input are welcome.

Fan is going to be pulling air out so it wont dry out my eyes. No air intake hole yet. Im hoping the air will pull in from around my face. Low volt connector to let me know how long the battey can run without over discharging it . The fan is really quiet . Its raining today so I might need to wait to try it out. If that doesnt work Im going to switch air flow to blow into the mask and if that doesnt work Im going to cut a vent.

Keep us posted. I just ordered some goggles, so I'll be interested how this works. Although I'm so cool, I probably won't have any fogging problems.

First flight after the rain last night (still cloudy and humid but a little cooler...60F) went great. I could feel the air pulling by my face but no dry eye issue like I figure would be there with the fan blowing into the goggles. It was actually cooling on my face temp wise. Oh and my 3s 1500 mah battery only dropped to 12.5 volts in about a 4 min flight. I think this thing is going to work. Still need to test it on a hotter+ high humid day.

So far, not too bad for a $7 fan and a little duct tape and foam!
