So i picked up my first fpv drone kit from another local pilot today and unfortunately some of the parts were missing from the kit. The kit itself is a sunfounder qav 250. it was missing it's main power cable so i just grabbed one off of my rc drift cars. until i can get over to the stores. now the kit comes with the cc3d flight controller and no instructions on how to wire the damn thing. i also got with it a devention devo 7 transmitter and receiver but it doesn't seem that the cables that came with it will fit my cc3d flight controller. does anyone have any ideas on where i cna find wiring diagrams for this. also the wires coming off of the esc's aren't the typical red black and white so i'm not sure which one is positive and which one is negative.
First time build off to bad start.

The darkest on the end is ground, probably brown Yellow is signal, but it should be the opisite end to the darkest, and the middle should be 5v+ assuming it is using typical servo wire standards.

well i solved most of my problems but ran into a new one. i got a new power distribution board and re soldered everything and its looking much better and i got a new flight controller with a new harness and it is wired fine now. everything powers up like its suppose to but now I'm running into a new problem. I'm trying to bind my devo 7 to the rx701 i've watched a video on it and the guy says to install the bind plug into the battery slot on the receiver however in the video when he powers his on his receiver is still getting power while the plug is in. and mine is not. because i obviously have to remove my battery power cable form it to use the bind pin. did i miss something here?
THe bind plug usually shorts the signal to ground. You will still need to provide power to the receiver through one of the open ports. Make sure you are doing that, especially if your ESCs are OPTO.
Yeah, it needs power, and you can reset it to its original configuration after binding.
perfect i do believe the radio is bound to the receiver now thank you. where can i find info on programming this remote now. in the video for binding the guy just holds the left thumb stick to the right for a while and the motors turn on. but mine does nothing I'm assuming its because i haven't programmed the remote yet. my other problem is my remote didn't come wit any cables so i can't plug it into my computer if i have too.
