first ever build, need help!

I recently bought a 320 size quad for fpv use. Everything seemed ok til I put the camera on. 2 main questions.

1: when I start to hover, the quad dips right and takes off that way til it hits the ground. No amount of correction on the stick helps at all. Could this be bad motors or esc? It flew perfect before I put the camera on... using simonk 20a esc, cc3d fc, 1806 series, 2300kv motors. This seems to be intermittent. Can't figure it out!

2: when I throttle at all, my video drops out. I'm GUESSING it's because I've powered it off my intigrated bec on my pdb, but I'm not sure!

I'm frustrated to no end! I'll admit I'm a total noob so fire away if I'm an idiot. I just need help!

Can you give links to the motors, and ESCs? I think the quadcopter is unbalanced, try balancing it from diagonal motors and move the battery until it feels balanced

My advice would be to sync your flight control board to your computer, pull up the config software for the board (you may need to download it), and recalibrate all of the sensors. Also, you may need to re-zero your remote's controls. Also, like GJH105775 said, you could try moving components (mainly the battery) until the quadcopter becomes more balanced feeling. :) This is a link to an external site where I found a very helpful video for setting up, and calibrating/recalibrating the drone's sensors. Ill give it a shot. Cant be any worse than it already is. I THOUGHT I did all that already, but it never hurts to try again. I'm also going to swap over all my motors, so if its a mechanical thing, It should be doing the same thing but to the other side. I am using the CC3D so that video might help. Thank you very much!

Ok people. I still need your help with this. So I was going to swap around all my motors to see if that fixed my problem. The first motor I pulled off, one of my rookie soldering jobs just pulled out. It was on the side that it has been turning. So, I figured, my rookie soldering probably was the cause of my problems. So I checked everything out and it all seems to be fine. I did not move any motors as to try to isolate the problem so I know what was wrong. Also, I but another strap on my lipo and really since them down. It's glued on pretty much.
So I went to try it again. It flew great! For a min. Then all at once, THE SAME THING. Dipping off to the right till it crashes. I mean , I suppose I can try moving the motors around, but I'm very frustrated. Any other thoughts? PLEASE HELP! I'M ABOUT TO THROW THIS THING IN THE GARBAGE!

Are you using flux and heating everything? You may want to add flux and reheat everything.

Swap your motors and see if the problem moves. It may be an ESC issue.

Yes. I even have a Flux pen for extra if needed. The only thing is, I couldn't find lead/tin solder. So I'm using rosin core. Could that be it?

When troubleshooting you can't assume anything. If you had swapped out the motor (put another in it's position) it would narrow down the options. Motor (replace it if the problem persists), if it works you now have to look into position. If position you could now concentrate on the FCB settings. If no joy you now have to consider the ESC and swap that out. Finally the FCB could be bad.

So I just flew it again. I didn't realize I had it in acro mode til I started flying. I have avoided flying it in acro as I have never done that before and it's less forgiving. IT FLEW FLAWLESSLY. nothing wrong at all. Hovered like a dream. I smashed it into the ground trying to show off and flip it but that's another story (it's pretty bad). But, point being, maybe it's just pid settings? Need a few parts now before I can fly again tho. Thoughts?

Sounds like a accelerometer problem, I don't think CC3D has a firmware for turning off the accelerometer, to learn to fly you should start with learning to fly without autoleveling anyways.

Yeah, unless your: sentimental, feel like a little troubleshooting, and feel like doing some SMD, if these are all true you could solder a new sensor on.
