Hello, what about edges of my blades? Had crash caused by battery loss. Propellers hits their protections hitting the ground.
Is it better to replace it? All four couples as this kinds of bites. Those in the picture are the most "damaged"
Yes I have seen it! Really fun
They crash really hard.
Mine was just something like a bad landing..
New battery is arrived from Aliexpress.
Hope to have some fun this weekend.
Not easy to find a safe isolated playground in my town.
Have a nice day.
I thought the first answer was a typo and he meant "sand" them. That's what I do. Of course you need to rebalance them afterwards, but I like to get rid of any rough edges, nicks, etc. Whether it makes a detectable difference depends on the quadcopter and the degree of prop damage, but of course those imperfections are going to cause some drag and turbulence, even if it's minor. It's the same as having an unbalanced prop. The quad probably flies fine, but it will be a little smoother if the props are perfect.
That said, I've flown my quads with some pretty banged up props, before I had a chance to swap them out. Most of the time it's not a problem.
Tried my Eachine last weekend with that props. Still soooo newbie and scarred by last disaster (battery issue). Flying like ping pong ball: back and forth and stop back and forth stop..left right stop..up..down..STOP. Still learning how that UFO move in sky. It seems to be "stable" when hands off on joysticks. Noticed just some little swings on take off: not sure if caused by grass ground. I already own 4x new blades but a bit worried about to remove little iron screws fitted in plastic. Next week hope to have te chance to fly again. I would love to replace baldes when test time will be over, to enjoy all the performances of my quad. Still testing my "new" batteries: at this moment 2 of 4 packs ore ok. I'm not a lucky guy..
