Hey guys! I just finished my first quad build, and since Christmas is just around the corner, I'm thinking about FPV. I've done some looking around on the internet, and I've found some pretty solid looking cheap all-in-one systems, like (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=21327&aff=247441) and (http://www.banggood.com/FPV-RC58-32...less360&utm_campaign=BG5890316utm_content=CSY) paired with (http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-700...less360&utm_campaign=BG5890316utm_content=CSY). Although those seem fine, they lack the ability to record flight video, and they also don't offer a very high quality video feed.
So. After doing some more looking around, I came across the RunCam HD, which seems to have good quality feed, recording capability, and it looks pretty affordable. Also, with the release of the RunCam HD 2 just a few weeks away, it seems like the ideal wish list item! (Although it is pretty pricey) So, what I'm wondering is if the RunCam HD/HD 2 will work with the (http://www.banggood.com/FPV-RC58-32...less360&utm_campaign=BG5890316utm_content=CSY) receiver that I found earlier and this transmitter (http://www.amazon.com/Boscam-5-8Ghz...=1448766098&sr=8-3&keywords=fpv+transmitter)?
If these would work together, it seems to me like a pretty solid setup, even if it is a bit pricey (if I opt for the RunCam 2 instead of the RunCam 1). But, after all, I am a newb to quads and FPV, so I really don't know!
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
