first build. Motors Accelerating?

hi, i havent gone for the easiest most basic set up for a first build but im happy with a bit of a challenge.
im using an OP cc3d revolution mini through libre pilot, got 30A cicada BLHeli_s esc's
the problem i have is 3 of the 4 motors just keep accelerating, when armed in min throttle they spin slowly as they should but with any throttle input they just keep spinning up faster and faster, when i put the throttle back in min position they all spin in the armed state but when i lift the throttle 3 of them just jump straight back up to the last fast speed and get faster again from there,
ive reflashed the firmware and erased everything, calibrated the escs. all control inputs are min 1000 max 2000 and neautral is 1500 apart from throttle which is 1024 (lowest spin speed)
when testing the motors through libre pilot (for lowest spin speed) they all act normal
any ideas?

Take a look at the throttle in the configuration software, what does the throttle look like there. Sounds like something might be setup for Heli.

Sometimes just sitting there, you'll get strange motor behavior. If you are sure about proper motor rotation and prop placement might be worth seeing if it lifts off. And as George mentioned make you sure your model is set to airplane some may call it acro in your TX.

Forgot about the airmode quark as well, this is on most baseflight based flight controllers like cleanflight, raceflight, or betaflight. So if by chance you are running airmode the PID loops are running even at 0 throttle, so the I gain will sky rocket as there is no reaction to the input provided and it will grow almost infinitely if not for it being somewhat kept in check by the software. For this reason it is suggested you take off and land without airmode enables, but if you takeoff right after arm and land and immediately disarm or disarm safely in the air you won't face this problem.

it thinks it's got props on, so the esc's tell motors to keep going coz nothing is happening.

The prop that wasn't spinning is probably the highest of the 4. So least power needed. Maybe a slightly uneven table or in your hand. Have you had props on it.?
It sounds to me you need to get our there with some on. Providing its all wired correctly for motor direction & the failsafe is in place. Just try it. I packed in smoking but now I smoke props. Think that's my new watzamejig.
