First Build, First Flight, First Crash

So I fly my S500 yesterday, F4 BetaFlight. Made sure the gyro was calibrates, made sure the failsafe was working. Took off and took it up to about 10 feet. It was stabe flew nice, I was praticing yawing and basic back and forth movment. The drone was very close to me and all of a sudden all 4 motors cut off and she smacked into the grass hard. Didn't break anything. The drone was still powered on. I cycled the arm switch and the motors came back to life. Is there any way to tell what happened ? It seems like the failsafe activated for some reason like it lost communications.

The blackbox records all sorts of info. Some FC's have on-board chips, others need a micro SD.

Ok i will check tonight to see if my BetaFlight F4 has that or if i need to add an SD card.

You can get failsafe @ close ranges.
Just like no bind if its too close.
If it persists, see a doctor.

LOL i upgraded my reciever to the X8R so i can back feed telemetry to my Taranis X7. It seems to pair way faster and is a really nice unit

Flew it yesterday for around 10 minutes. Went great, nice and responsive. Next up add a FPV camera !
