ESC #1 OVERHEATING - PLEASE HELP

I REMOVED THE 5V AND GROUND FROM THE ESCS ALL EXCEPT ESC #1 TO POWER MY NAZE 32--- THAT ESC IS OVERHEATING - DO YOU KNOW WHY

What do you mean by overheating? The esc that I use to power my naze gets warmer than the others.

YES THE ONE THAT I USE TO POWER THE NAZE ---- IT GETS REALLY HOT -AS SOON AS I PLUG IN MY LIPO

I CUT ALL OF THE OTHER ORANGE AND BROWN WIRES -THE 5V AND THE GROUNDS FROM THE OTHER 3 ESC

Is it melting the heat shrink? I would just monitor it. Always buy one extra when ordering for just in-case situations in the future.

YES IT IS MELTING IT - RIGHT WHERE THE 5V GOES TO THE BATTERY

That is not a good sign. What escs are they?

You could get a 5v step down. These are super small and do not weigh or cost much.

There seems to be a bit of controversy about not using all the grounds.

What ESCs are you using and what is the rating their BECs can supply? Maybe it's just a matter of the BEC being pushed past it's limit.

An inexpensive UBEC may be a solution, effectively by passing the ESC completely.

OK -SO YOURE SUGGESTING THAT I -JUST USE ONLY THE SIGNAL WIRES FROM THE ESCS -THEN USE THE UBEC TO POWER THE BOARD -

GLAD YOU GOT IT FIGURED OUT, BUT NO NEED TO YELL. (JOKING) I had the same problem as I followed the instructions of some guys who really seemed to know what they were talking about (Fearless360 was one) about only using the signal wire only. My Luminier ESCs came with instructions the strictly stated that grounds MUST be used on all of them. Guess you can't believe everything you read on the interweb!
