Eachine Racer 250 Battery

Hey everyone, quick question; What battery can I use for my Eachine 250 Racer? It came with a
11.1V 1500mAh 25C 3S battery and I would like longer flight times. I understand that I should probably buy more batteries and another charger but I want to make sure I am buying quality parts.
Any suggestions? Or should I just stick with having more stock batteries?

Not a problem going to a 1800-2000 mah for longer run time. Just keep in mind that it's going to be heavier so the amount of extra time won't exactly be proportional to the increase in mahs. One other thing to keep in mind is that most 3S batteries up to 1500 mah are about 70 mm long, but after that they increase to 100 mm. Just something to keep in mind if you're working with limited space. If you've only got a certain position to put your battery, the increased length can throw your quad off balance. I'd say get a few more 1300-1500 mah batteries and be happy with the 8-10 minutes you get.

Especially for the Racer, which even with the stock battery tends to be ass heavy.

I could be happy with 8 minutes of flight time. I just needed to know what to buy, so thanks for answering my question.
I'll post something once I get my drone. Maybe a review and definitely another question because I have read about upgrading the motor to this drone.
I've been flying drones for a while now but they were all toy grade that kept breaking and I wanted something I could fix so I invested the money.

That was a tempting drone. However, I wanted a RTF model too and for $320 I saw the Racer 250 which had everything I needed for FPV. I did the math with the Falcon and I would have spent considerably more.
Also, has anyone purchased from that website? I dislike that there is no tracking number but I love not paying for shipping lol. I want to know when my drone is coming in. ):
I miss flying.

I hear ya, I've got 6 or 7 big orders in for my next build and I have no idea if they're one city away or at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean

Just got an e-mail from something like DHL saying a package will come to my house this Friday. Well, it's not my credit card, so it is either my Army BCT ring or the Drone. I think my bank and ring company would select USPS, UPS, or Fedex and since the drone is coming from China, it could be DHL; I've never heard of DHL though. ):

Falcon total $275 with slick case which is nicer than the extra battery the Racer comes with. Plus you get a traditional QAV/ZMR frame with regular arms, and you don't have to worry about the Racer's proprietary stuff. And with the antenna out of the way the top mounted battery balances better than the Racer's ass heavy arrangement, with it sitting right up against the Flight Controller. Many have destroyed it in a crash.

Exactly.


Either upgrade to a bigger quad for longer flight times or become OK with switching packs out in the field.

All three really. Any 250 series is an upgrade from the toy section. :p
I think racing drones don't make good for videography but I wanted something fast and mount my GoPro on.

Good luck mounting a GoPro on a 250 size quad. Sure you can do it, but it's going to be very vulnerable to damage.
