Hey guys, Eachine sent me this gimbal free providing I reviewed it, I am telling you this up front, and assure you that it will not skew any product review.. The first thing I can say about it is that it is a real gem, it is made completely from aluminium and therefore is really repairable.
The gimbal was made for a GoPro, but you can make it work quite good with a Mobius or Runcam, I did that using this guide. I found that those settings did not work too well with my Runcam (weighs a little less than the Mobius that the guide was made for), so I played with the settings and have attached them to the post for your convenience.
As for the video; it is really nice, and there is no jello. I use an aluminium frame and had unbalanced props, when I attached directly to the frame the jello made the video unusable, but with the gimbal there was no jello at all. It also keeps the video really steady, even with my less than stable copter (I am not very good with adjustments yet).
The current controller board is very customization, but you should be able to use about any other controller board with gimbal support.
I plan to upload some video, but I am in the process of rebuilding my copter.
Basically this is a great product, I would definitely suggest it for the aluminium construction and great price. If you are interested in this product, and are a member of the forums PM me or Neil, and Eachine may give you a offer of 50% off the price.
For the file you'll have to change the extention, or just copy it into a saved profile.
