Hi guys this is not a rant just asking how you feel about the China RC goods help or harm the RC hobby
Me I feel that due to the China cloning of RC goods it makes the top companies up there Game to stay ahead so you buy from them. Years back you needed to pay out a lot of £ or $ to have Return Home ,GPS, FPV , etc but now even cheap clones have these , they may not work as well as the real thing but some even work better than the real item , so this is an upside
Downside is you can always fix broken items as you can get the parts , or they remove the markings off the chip sets so you can find what has been used , But some times they are so cheap buy 2 one for spares
Chinglish manuals these can be a real pain to read and work out what they mean but many of us use youtube IE, painless360, rcreviews and many more to find out settings and workings
One of the biggest problems, is items that you buy what will not work out of the box , but this is part of buying cheap clones But are they cheap there prices are not always far off the real item so you need to way up the pros and cons for the item you want
They really need to up there QC but they dont as this will put up the price
Forums like this one help to keep up with new items that come out , and its nice to see the membership rise with Key members with there know how passing help on to us that need help Thanks guys you know who you are
So to sum up I feel they do help move the hobby forwards and can keep price down if you shop around , but come on get the Chinglish manuals right and some QC
So what do you guys feel about the China clones
