disabling motor autostop feature

Hi! I'm completely new to this forum but I've been tinkering with my Syma x5c and turbo helicopters for some time now.
What I'm looking for is a way to disable the feature that force stops the motors when the sensors detect resistance. If that isn't possible I can go into some more relevant details about my project for a substitute solution.
If anybody can point me in a direction so I can learn what I need it would be greatly, greatly appreciated! Thanks

What FCB and ESCs does it use?

Hi! thanks for replying.
I'm sorry I can't give a better answer, but I don't know how to find out what the FCB and ESCs it uses are. It is a S-3.5G indoor RC helicopter. It has just one circuit board that reads "SYMA-107N-IR"..."ROHS".
Sorry in advance if that is irrelevant information, I did several quick searches and couldn't find anything. As you can tell I really dont know too much about the field yet. I appreciate your patience

Ok, so it uses in-runners, and there fore uses no ESCs.


The only thing I can think of would be a firmware modification. It is probably a safety feature, it may be possible to remove a diode or something that may sense that resistance, but for that you'd need a detailed circuit diagram.

Okay. hmm. I assume that wouldn't be on the internet anywhere...
My goal here is to repurpose the motors (1 C, 1CC) to use as an RC axis. I was planning on placing them both against a single gear that would have a resting rotation of 0, then I'd use the controller to power one motor over the other to make it turn. This setup would have had heating problems, if I ever even got it to continue through the resistance they put eachother through.
Since that isn't an option I'll have to find some way to get the average rotation of the motors to power a gear without them meshing and creating resistance.
Edit: Should I just look for an ESC that's reversible?

if they move one direction you could try putting a diode inline, unless it is checking for amp draw.
