Destroyed Phantom: Rebuild with new parts?

So, a buddy of mine a couple years ago crashed his DJI Phantom 1. Basically, the body was destroyed, blades are gone, battery disappeared, top of one of the motors is busted, but decent otherwise. Being a collector of parts, I have 4 new Mystery motors 5010-750kv. I also have a 3D Printer.

The key of this is Budget: My goal is to only buy a battery and blades and to build a new quad using the internals of the Phantom, my motors, and a 3D Printed Body. Phantom 1 motors were 2212/920KV. As said, I have 5010-750kv motors. The battery I'm thinking is a 2700mah Link.

I'd appreciate any guidance on if I can simply add these motors to the existing internals of the Phantom on a new frame and battery. I know enough about electronics to get myself in trouble, and there isn't any local DIY shops/clubs, plus DJI won't say anything as they don't want to be liable.

In the attached picture is my 3D printed frame and 3/4 motors on right. Left is most of the internals of the Phantom 1.

I would just get a new motor and use the rest of it on your new frame.

I'm more interested in putting in the bigger motors that I have. DJI says they don't sell the old blades anymore, so I'd rather use motors that I can always get blades for.

Does anyone know if the new motors are going to be compatible with the internals of the DJI Phantom?

Well you would need to check the amp draw on the original motors then compare them to the new motors. I see a max draw of 22A for the Mysterys, that may be too much for the Phantom1 ESCs.

Like RG said, i suggested just getting a stock motor becuase those motors you have look larger and if you use something that draws more amps than the stock ESC's can handle you will just burn them out.

Prop size will also determine the amount of amps a motor might draw...More lift equals more amp draw.

Even if DJI doesnt sell those stock props anymore im sure you can get something to match size wise. Pitch and length.

Hi the standard ESC for the the phantom is 18 amps , your be better off getting the DJI motor to replace the broken one and then fit it all to new frame , your get props from Hobby king to fit it and flight times on a 2200 mah 3 cell is about 10 mins
if esc are to be mounted out side your have to cover with heat shrink to protect them
The motors on the phantom 1 are self locking normally check the threads if the motor has a black dot on top of shaft of 2 motors and nothing on 2 then they are self locking
PS looking at photo where is the compass gone your need this to get the Naza to play nice its the small silver box on the landing leg
