Technically I completed the build two weeks ago or so but there were still a few loose ends. I had a ton of extra wires from the motors and ESCs that were completely unnecessary and unwieldy, so I trimmed and removed all extra wire. I have a dedicated power module with a BEC, so I was able to connect my flight controller directly to the 5v power from there. I also got the voltage detector and buzzer hooked up and they work great.
Lastly, I completed my FPV basestation. It's a RadioShack enclosure with a 12v motorcycle battery and a toggle switch to power on/off. I have a 7" TFT display and a 32 channel 5.8GHz reclever. Pretty happy with it for my first FPV station. The brightness of the display and overall quality might become an issue when used outside, however. :/
Now we are ready for some prime-time crashes!
