Compatability of controllers.

So...I own a ruko gim2 with the 2 0 controller.
I was approached by a fellow pilot that lost his gim2 into the lake.
Only a spare battery and the controller remain.
He wants to sell me his controller at a good price
and yes it also is the 2 0 version.
Also this seller is not local.

So how does this work??
Plug ang play??
Or is there more to it

If the price is right, buy them.
Batteries, propellers, motors etc as well as the controllers of the same model are interchangeable.

If yes, just for precaution, ask to try his controller with your F11. They should work perfectly.

Update: The seller is in California, so a meeting is out of the question.
The later controller, the 2.0 version.
Does two things the 1.0 earlier version will not do.
1) When first starting the drone engines, they surge twice before becoming stable.
2) With the controller off, quick press of the power button will tell you what level of charge the controller has. Example. BAT. 100. PCT.
The older version has a battery icons along with the text.

What I am going to say henceforth is just speculations ........

I don't believe it has anything to do with the controller. I am speculating that the issue you mentioned is due to your F11 having a crash or 2 before. As a result, one of your motors might have an issue, it's "acting up".
It could also because one of the props are either loose or too tight.
Remove one propeller at a time, ( don't remove all at the same time), then put it back. Do the same to the rest of the props. One at a time.
Fly the drone. See if it is any better.

The F11 GIM2 the brand new drone does the double rev.....This is what the controlleris for......this drone has had no crashes.

Now my first drone is a F11 Pro.
It is being replaced by Ruko.
Fortunately I bought the Refresh insurance through Ruko. The replacement cost is minimal.
I could not sell this drone in good conscience the way it was, so when it's replacement gets here
and all is well, I will rethink selling it.

Yes it has strange problems. F11 PRO drone #1.
There is not one scratch on the outside, it's perfect.
But flying in Forward axis, it will drift in left yaw axis a lot. 10 ft to the left over 60 ft. In Forward.
You can hold the Forward axis. And the left yaw axis.
Crazy thing will spin like a Frisbee and never miss a lick in Forward.
Wild.....I think the gyro has had its bell rung.
Calibrating it helps zero.

I was just buying the second controller as a spart part for the new drone F11 GIM2.
