JUST bought a cheerwing cw4 for me and kids to learn on. Fresh out of the box, toying around, quadcopter got caught in bush on full throttle and burned out motor (could smell it). After exhaustive search for replacements, I finally just measured the motor and ordered what I thought were good replacements and even went to hobby store in town and they matched up as best they could. The hobby store motor doesn't have enough lift and the four I ordered turned out to be wrong size. After more research, it looks like the CW4-u42w is identical to the petrel u42w. Not sure though. I have looked everywhere for replacement motors. Does anyone know of the correct replacement motor? I only spent about 50.00 to learn on this thing and many more attempts and I should have just bought a new quadcopter! Getting frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.
