Cheap escs, Cheap fcb compatibility question.

Hello fellow quadcopter folks, I found some super cheap electronic online that would be perfect for my ultra light 5" quad I've been thinking about slapping together but I'm not too sure if these relics will play well together .

Will the afro 12 amp escs:

And the Naze 32 Rev6 acro fcb:

Work together, I'm familiar with the naze but not the afro escs.

Sure it'll work. Wasn't all that long ago that ESCs with SimonK firmware was bleeding edge technology

Likely can't run BLHeli firmare or use the desktop software since the chips on those are probably the ones from Atmel that are typically lower clock rate and lower memory (also less power in general but not a big deal here). Can see more detailed explanation about it here:

Basically new ones using chips from SiLabs I'd guess the BLHeli_S which was open source also runs on different processors/MCU than the BLHeli32 ones that I'm guessing use 32-bit processors hence the name (also no longer open source). Many of the transmitters/receivers use Atmel based chips (offload the actual radio transmission and receiving to another chip/board) and are good enough for that job but for higher clock rate tasks need a beefier processor basically.

Yeah I know there's a reason those escs are so cheap lol but my new passion in this hobby is to try to build quads out of the oldest, cheapest equipment possible.

The only reason I can think for configuring the escs is to reverse motor directions but if it comes to that the old school way of simply switching two wires around should still do the trick.
