Cc3d won't communicate with TX

Hello, I am kind of new to building quads, so I've built my first quad and have gone through the setup wizard. Everything works fine except for the fact that my the cc3d won't communicate with my receiver. I have a FS-ct6b. I can get the motors to spin up with the GCS, but they won't do anything when I use my transmitter

Did you run thru the Transmitter Wizard?

Yes, I found out I hadn't wired the receiver port correctly. I have it working and flying now, thanks.
