cc3d 5 / 6 output help

Hi all,
can any one help, Im trying to get the 5/6 outputs on a cc3d to work but having no luck
if i connects servo to the cc3d on output 5 or 6 it won't work but the quad will arm and fly.
If i disconnect the receiver output 5 and 6 and connect the servo to the receiver the servo will work but the c33d won't arm.
I'm using librepilotd and on settings using quad x (4 motors) I've tried using hex copter (6 motors) but the copter won't fly right (only using 4 motors 5 and 6 servos)

Not sure I understand what you are doing... using a 4 motor quad "template" to run six motors?
Granted I am no expert but in my use of CC3D/OpenPilot - it only "allows" the number of motors you opted to use - ie X quad =4 to function and although I have not gone through a six motor setup - I assume it will show 6 motors when you set the high / low settings using the sliders.

If I am up the wrong tree...sorry...hope some of our more experienced guys sober up and get back online after NYE.

Hi,

Im using a 4 motor quad setup on the cc3d and want to control a pair of servos via the accessory controls,
i have tried to connect the servos directly to the receiver but this stops the cc3d from arming, and when i connect to the cc3d there is no movement on the servos, (not looking for the servos to have any flight correct control or stabilisation )

Hi, Im using a flysky FS CT6B 6 channel transmitter the servos work ok when connected to the receiver but the cc3d won't arm (i think due to two of the single wire connectors are not connected ?)

In LibrePilot have you properly identified the type of servo, Standard or Digital?

Well first off you need 4 channels to run the basics then another (say the 5th) for your flight modes which with your radio will give you 2 out of 3 that are readily available. When you did your setup did you toggle one of your switches when asked? That would automatically assign it to Flight mode. Seems there can be problems if things are not configured for their intended use.

How are you powering the CC3D exactly?

It may just be a matter of not enough juice to power everything. With my tricopter I followed the advice given and used an inexpensive UBEC which I plugged into one of the CC3D's empty output ports. In your case since all 6 are used you should be able to plug it into the RX's BAT port.

Hi jackson,
when i did the setup the toggle switch would not recognised (on the computer it has a 3 position switch but the transmitter only has 2 x 2 position switches), but if you switch the switch it shuts off power to the quad.

the power to the cc3d is taken from the ESC's.

At the moment the power shouldn't be a problem due to me using a caravan battery 110Ah and a 15 foot power lead (I have to save up for the lipos
receiver Ch1 the connector with 3 wires Ch 2 to 6 single wire plugs, battery/binding port un-used,

I only really need one servo. (ch6)

That doesn't matter, your ESC's are powering the CC3D and RX, not your PS.

Maybe some help here, note you don't have to tick the 'stabilization' box.
