so i am building my very first arduino uno quadcopter. The ARDUIN UNO is the flight controller and it will recieve input from the reciever (RX). I was told by a local RC employee that the reciever (ESKY model:000095 EK2-0420 which i got from an old rc helicopter) i am using is D-BUS , and that the arduino does not understand this reciever protocol. i was recommended to use an S-BUS reciever with my arduino!!
basically i would like to know if this reciever i am using is actually D-BUS AND not PWM,PPM or anything else.
i would also like to know if the arduino can understand this reciever's protocol (language)
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
