Can GPS function be added to KK2.1.5?

Newb question here - it looks simple to add FPV when using the KK2.1.x boards but how about GPS functions? Is that something that is too integrated into the flight controller to be an add on?

The general answer is no, but for the accuracy of an answer it is possible for a KK2.1.5 to run MultiWii, this should only really be done for fun, don't bank of actually doing this.

I guess I should have said a simple way... I think it would be much easier to learn one of the APM or Multi-Wii boards then to jump thru all those hoops. This becomes a future problem - still learning the basics and feeling my way. Hard enough for me to learn one thing at a time - throwing another controller in at this point would just reset me to zero. Thanks!
