Battery problem

Hi everyone,

I have an mini quadcopter (JJRC H36),for half a year but i didn't used it last two months and yesterday i decided to use it.
So i charged up the battery and start flying, but after around 30-40 seconds it starts blinking (usually because of low battery) and then land emergency.Generally it flyes around 5-6 minutes (like before).Then i decided to check the battery (3.7v 150mAh) with a multimeter and it shows 3.75v and 160mA.Then i pluuged in battery again and flyes around 30 seconds and again starts blinking and land.So i check the battery again and shows almost the same result as before.What is the problem ?

Just a speculation...... possibly a bad battery ?
Does it look "swollen"/"bloated" ? If yes, battery is no good anymore.
You only have one battery for that? Buy a few, those batteries are very inexpensive.

Yup if new battery C rating is too low or it's otherwise damaged it might be dropping voltage quickly when under load (power going to motors) and can recover voltage when taken off for measuring, just a guess, could also be connector on battery is bad and so adding extra resistance to the circuit.

Also should fully charge usually I land with cells around 3.6-3.7V range because under load they can dip .5V or more and don't want them under 3.0V for very long or will damage them. Should charge to 4.2V or if using HV cells 4.35V and land before 3.5V resting voltage.

That morning i charge the battery to 4.15V than i go to test it.Well it flyes around 20-30 seconds then again starts blinking and lands.check the battery and shows 4.04V and 180mAh.

Hi sounds like battery can you get a new battery and try that in the drone
The batteries that come with the drone may not be the best quality see if you can get a better after market one

Now im sure the battery is gone.I make a little test.I removed the upper part (the plastic) and connect multimeter to two connectors + and - to the PCB and push a little up accelerator (enough to fins start spining).For 5 seconds shows 3.85V and just after that all shut down (lights,rotors) and shows 0.5V.After a couple of minutes agains shows 3.85V.The problem was dropping voltage quickly. So thanks to all for given time and advices!
