i just bought my first quadcopter (Syma X11) and some extra 200 mah batteries. I charged some using the USB port on my computer. My question is it okay to charge them with my IPhone 7 charger which is just a ac plug with a USB input? I would connect the battery to the charging cord that came with the quad and plug the USB end of the cable into the I Phone. I'm thinking the battery would charge faster but I don't want to damage the batteries. I just found this forum and hope to learn more here. Thanks!

In order of speed for charging my phone

Charger it came with.
I had my phone (motors g) for 4years.
Still works like the day I got it. From flat the TV charges in 40min as where the one it came with 70-80min. So it's worth messing round for the extra flight time.

I tried plugging the charger that came with the Syma X11 into the USB input of the iPhone charger and it didn't speed up the charging. I'm thinking thinking the X11 charger regulates the electrical flow so it doesn't matter? Getting 380 mah batteries makes sense but maybe I need a better charger since they might take more time to charge. I've only flown it a few times but I can see my skill level improving. It really takes a fine touch on the throttle which has to be learned. I also bought a fq 777 -124 nano quad that requires a little more skill. Both these had great reviews and are a lot of fun.

guys how about if i was to charge the battery via power adapter plugged into the wall power point, would that still be ok? or does it strictly need to be connected to a pc and/ or phone?
would a travel adapter with an output of 5.3v - 2.0A work?
