Attaching A Higher Capacity LiPo To Your TX?

Hungry Dan attached a higher capacity LiPo battery to the back of his Hubsan H501S transmitter with Velcro.

Good idea?

Yes it did: 1300 MAH at 7.4 volts. My flight battery is 2700 MAH at 7.4 volts. Dan installed a 2000 MAH Lipo to his TX which he says lets him make several flights before showing any discharge on the battery life indicator.

When I first bought my CX-30 the guy I was talking to suggested bumping up to 800MaH, with likely a change out of the stock connectors with the purpose of increased flight time. I do believe he did the same to the one gifted to him from a shop.

So? Just wait and see how many flights you get before you have to recharge your battery. I wouldn't want some clunky external battery hanging off the back of my TX.

I haven't bought another battery...yet.

Besides, I've had my Quad for 17 days and haven't flown it yet, so I don't know anything...just getting information.
