Arming question

Hi, I'm building a 550 classquadcopter with multiwii pro ez 3 and I'm having trouble with the arming. The yaw stick is supposed to be able to arm the quad according to everything I've read. I can't seem to get it to work consistently. It only seems to work if I have the computer connected to the fc with a usb cable.
Any suggestions? The setup includes led ring, gps, bluetooth all from rtf quads.

Make sure the channels are not trimmed off 0 and that nothing needs to be reversed, sometimes throttle needs to be reversed.

Not sure what you mean by "Make sure the channels are not trimmed off 0". I have had to reierse the yaw and the roll in my tx but I thought I accounted for that. My arming should be down and to the right instead of down and to the left if I understood all that I've been reading.

Hi mate when you set up you reverse channel in the transmitter so it works the right way in the FCB on the monitor screen so right is right left is left etc , arming will still be as the manual so will still be down and right
What George is saying is in the monitor screen the channels should read zero with the sticks in the middle

OK that makes sense and yes they do read zero when centered on the tx. In the multiwiiconf they read 1500 when centered and 1100 at the bottom end and 1900 at the top end.
Even when I have had it arm, it has taken a long time.

No, it hasn't left the ground yet. Of course it isn't quite finished yet either.

Does Not ARM
This is commonly due to the Stick values not exceeding MINCHECK and MAXCHECK. The defaults are 1100 and 1900. The Radio TX setup (see the User's Manual for the Radio you are using) is used to adjust the stick End Point values, typically called stick Gain. The recommended values are to have the sticks go from 1000 to 2000 but not further. These values are displayed in the MultiWiiconf.exe or WinGui.exe. Also ensure the stick values increase when moving the sticks to the right and up. If they do not then reverse the stick in the radio setup.
