Hello, I wanted to know if this FPV kit is good for first FPV quad experience? Anything there of which to be careful?

Sure seems rather complete from the pic and specs. A 'Deluxe', all inclusive kit. Fancy antennas and a 'ground station'. Just need a couple batteries, strap, more spare props and a charger and you're good to go. FWIW it appears to be a a tad smaller @ 220mm, compared to the real 250mm QAV250.

You defiantly want to avoid flysky radios and receivers. You could get that and upgrade as you get the money, but I would strongly suggest against that radio, unless you make a fail-safe for it.

Flysky or Frysky?, anyways their cheaper stuff don't always have fail-safes, if you loose signal your out of luck, it will continue on. Ad they are cheap knockoffs of Frysky.

That's what I've got and I've had no problems with it. I've lost sight of my quadcopter before the radio lost signal

There is nothing wrong with it, it seems to get overlooked but it's a rather sophisticated transmitter considering it's low price. The backlit LCD, twin antennas on the RX for diversity and cheap PPM with iBus port RXs can be had, and various telemetry modules are a nice touch.

The one quirk that throws folks is to save, press 'cancel'.

BTW if you get the cable you can update your FW to the latest 1-12-2015 version.

Well I thought it was a really good unit for the price. My dads been flying helicopters for nearly 20 years. He now has a transmitter worth nearly £2k, and yet he says the fs-i6 is pretty good. More than adequate for a 250 quad racer lol

Well do go into it and and at least set your throttle to 'ON" pressing 'cancel' when done.
