After soldering on all my pretty LEDs last night, I had an idea, but I'm not sure how it will work, if at all.
So I'm flying with a Spektrum DX6 and the AR610 RX. I'm thinking, How can I wire the LEDs to be switchable? My THOUGHT is, use the 6th channel off the RX. I'm using the CC3d Atom FC. So my math goes like this, 4 channels for flight, 1 channel to change flight modes, and that leaves I channel open. Even the setup for the transmitter on open pilot gives me an option for an additional switch when I'm setting it up. But how would I go about it? Again, A noob assuming things, I would say, find whatever my open channel is, have 1 wire from the FC to signal, then my + and - to my LEDs in the corresponding spots. Any ideas on if this will work?
