That's about how much I'm spending anyways. If I were to build one to sell it i'd probably sell it at that price point as well. about 400.00

I don't own a 3d printer but its 78.00 to have someone print you one on 3d hubs thats the cheapest i've found after clicking through at least 20 pages. But a local store in my town (Photo USA) prints for cheap and my college Virginia Western has one of the largest 3d printers in a school in the country. There is also a store 2 towns a way that solely 3d prints. There's always a cheaper way.

This has been a great project for so far. I have really learned more about setup on my printer with all the parts that have to fit together and I will have a cool video platform when I am done. By the time I finish this my flying and tuning abilities may have reached the point where I am not afraid to fly it. Its a win/win for me no matter the outcome...

i bought a practice drone that i could learn to fly mould king drone. I bought it 2 weeks before i bought any of the parts for the dji. I figured i could learn to fly while building the deadly one. Now i have gotten alost all the parts to build the dji and still no mould king drone. that was a waste of 20 dollars. So while ive been waiting for the dji parts and the mould king drone I put a camera on my Nitro rc drift car and drove it around. that was cool but i cant wait til i get the actual drones.

I got the mould king drone and in the instructions it has 2 buttons i dont understand. The instructions are a case of translation from chineese to english and i can sorta understand whats their saying enough to get by for the most part. The two buttons are "Follow without tail mode" and "One king return mode"

First sounds like 'Headless Mode', which is supposed to steer the quad in the direction you push the stick no matter which way it's facing. The other sounds like 'Return to home' which is supposed bring it back to where you launched it. These seldom work right, I haven't tried them.

yeah headless mode works but once put into headless mode it backwards is forwards and left is right but that doesn't change. also it comes back to the take off point but most of the time it turns off like 50 feet above take off and i have to catch it. It's cool how they got even that far without gps. i wonder if i could somehow do that with the one im building. I have almost all the parts. all i need now is the frame and power distribution board which comes in 7 days at max.

I have my lipo battery connected to the power distribution board which is connected to 4 esc's. my esc's are also connected to my flight control board. do i connect my power distribution board to my flight control board or power the flight control board separately? also how would i calculate what battery i would use for my build. I don't own a lipo yet but you get the basic wiring.

From your OP it seems you have regular (as opposed to opto) Emax 20A ESCs.
Those will be powering your FCB when plugged in.

I finally got around to ordering the 3D printed parts they should be done by April 5th or sooner. they will be printed at 32 microns super hd and at a high infill of 97%. It cost me 1200 dollars for the print WAY more than i predicted. almost worth buying a real inspire, but not as fun. anyways since i know nothing about the wiring yet, I have a possibly stupid question. I have the KK2.15 Lite LCD Flight Control Board which is similar to the KK2.0 Flight Control Board
I want to hook up gps to it. I cant even find a single video expressing how to add gps to any hobby grade or homemade drone. It is so aggravating that if i google "how to add gps to my drone" it only comes up with drone i can buy that already have gps. Yet i know I KNOW its possible.

From what i think im understanding, it converts its arduino c based code to a code which the gps can understand and back, Im probably wrong, but id like to be able to plug a gps directly into this. if icant and i get to frustrated ill switch to the more complicated naze32. At least there is a video for that. There is however no screen on that board, and no usb port. I dont even have the frame yet but i want to at least fly it with the board i have first. Also dont want to crash it so it'd be nice if i had a gps to keep it in the air.

You need more than a GPS module. The full Naze/Flips (and some others) have a compass and barometer on board already.
Just about every FC made (except for the KK2) will have a USB port which is used to update FW using the applicable software and setting up up the quad. Baseflight, Cleanflight, LibrePilot, etc.
