250 racer props

hi guys, I have a 250 racer. Been running both 3s and 4s battery's with some 5030 props. I've been and bought myself some 5" tri blade props and also some 6045 props.

I've been told not to use the 6" props on a 250 size racer, can anyone explain why?

What motors and ESCs do you have? If you are not racing in any types of competitions with rules on props and your motor/ESC combo can handle 6'' then it should be fine.
