250 Quad trouble

Hi there guys. I'm a noob in this whole quadcopter generation. I live in South Africa and help this side is hard to come by as they changed the rule about quads in this country. This is why i am looking abroad.

Parts i purchased from Hobbyking

I have set up everything and did the open pilot calibration but when i try to lift of the quad is very unstable( maybe 2 inches from the ground) then after about 2-5 seconds the motors speeds up and flips. Every time. Sounds like a massive vibration from motors or some of them. Any ideas??? Will see if i can upload a picture and video later.

What flight mode are you in? Sounds like possible settings issue on cc3d. And( just to be sure) the blades are on correctly and the motors are spinning in the correct direction? Also, how do you have your esc into the cc3d? There is a proper order...

A common cause of this is that the motors are not plugged in to the correct pins on the FCB. When the FCB spins up a motor to correct orientation, the wrong motor spins up and makes the situation worse. The FCB spins it up even faster to correct, which makes it even worse. Quad flips over.

Double check your connections. On both ends.

Note sometimes the wires on the loom's color may be different, so follow the order out of the connector to double check.

My cc3d only have 3 colours of wires so i didn"t know the orientation of the pins. All the motors are spinning correct way and props are also correct. Made pretty damn sure of it. Will check the wires and count pins as you say. The flight mode i am not sure. Still trying to figure out all of the settings in open pilot program. I think it is in default as i don't know what to adjust at this point of time.

You do understand it's not about the direction the motor or props are spinning, they can all be spinning correctly. They have to be plugged in correctly; ESCs to CC3D and CC3D to receiver. That's so when the CC3D determines motor 3 needs to spun up higher (or lower) it is in fact connected to motor 3 and not say motor 4.

Note this loom that goes to the receiver has been properly marked, ready to plug in.

You see here where Painless360 is taking the time to also mark each ESC wire with the corresponding motor#.

My cable that came with my cc3d doesn't have all the colours. 3 colours only. Do i count the cables from the plug and then follow it to the receiver.
