They look fine, and the reviews are good, but if you could find one with internal shaft (no shiny metal rod poking up) it would give you less problems down the road. They have a threaded piece that bolts on instead. I'd get the 820kv is possible in case you decide to upgrade.

Hi Ian G. My second build was the same as yours. My first build was a F450 X frame. I built that one with cheap parts because I didn't know any better at the time. What a disaster and expensive replacing all the junk parts I had bought. Save your pennies until you can afford good quality. What I decided on the Reptile is what I consider a reasonably priced set-up. I learned the hard way not to bottom feed. Motors; SunnySky 2216-800kv uses sealed bearings, efficient, well balanced, swinging 12x3.8 props on 3s and 11x5.5 on 4s. ESC's; ZTW Spider 30a Small ( plug and play, no programming) operate to 600HZ and run very cool. Castle Creations UBEC. XAircraft MiniX w/Gps and OSD, basically plug and play/ literally 60 seconds to set up.To save some money you could start with a KK board and move up later. HobbyKing FPV in a box starter set. I kept the battery wires short(12ga.) and the motor wires long It was a smooth, stable flyer on the 3s. It easily lifted FPV gear and a big battery. It really boogied on the 4s! That's when I crashed it badly. Mostly 'cause I'm such a awesome pilot.........

They say in the description they have a BEC? So I don't need one then right? I just wanna make sure if a motor or esc fails that my copter don't freefall 100 feet to the pavement.. Is this correct?! Thanks in advance!

The unfortunate fact is that if a motor or ESC fails you will fall out of the sky. There are many people flying quads using your components and enjoying many trouble free flights. There are also quite a few who experience dramatic crashes from those same components failing. After my first couple of component failures I refuse to use cheap parts.
On your BEC question, the ESC's you have listed do have a BEC built in. If you look around on the net you you will find that the best ESC's are opto, meaning no BEC, and can operate up to 600hz. The cheap ones w/BEC operate up to 400hz or some even less. The lone exception is Castle which can operate up to 490hz. I don't know why having a BEC made into the ESC equates to less efficient performance. That's way above my pay grade.
If you do go for opto ESC's I highly recommend using the Castle UBEC. It is dead quiet, can handle up to 10a and has adjustable voltage output. It is shielded enough that you can mount it next to your Rx and run the wires across your antenna and have no problems. Or you can buy one for $5 and it will be so noisy that you will have trouble finding a location to mount it that won't cause you headaches.
You have probably noticed I am an advocate of using only the good stuff. My experience is that the cheap stuff will cost you more in the long run. You will eventually pay in both dollars and frustration from using sub par products. I don't want to have my quad which I spent my hard earned money and labor on become a several pound missile because I chose to save a few bucks on parts. Now when I dig a hole in the ground it is because of my exceptional and legendary piloting skills!! Hahahaha!
