I feel you have missed my post a little. My cynicism was directed towards big brother being worried about having someone else up there watching.

Being an older part of this quad copter forum it seems that the ruling powers are going to force legislation either severely restricting or banning quads/drones in the UK. As in the USA the media hype any minor incident and there seems to me, possible orchestrated 'incidents' especially...

Thanks old chap I will get the runcam and start experimenting with the mounts. I suppose these 2axis gimbal mounts are too heavy for the x8?

I want to upgrade my camera on a x8c. It has to cheap with a home made anti jello mounting, I was thinking of a runcam or similar with a credit card mount. Any other ideas?

Have you put the correct rotor blade on? Check you haven't bent the mainshaft (I did) as this will prevent rotor spinning fast enought.

You can get them in as a guy has done it on YouTube (Jace?) but he stripped it and cut away the compartment so it fitted.

Well first crash and motor A is clicking and not working properly now. It will take off but not any power to stop decent properly. It seems I have damaged the motor. My question is will it likely to be the motor clicking or a gear cog, also are they easy to repair/replace? robert

well the x8w arrived monday and it flies so well, really pleased. Now the learning process. Oh cameranot the best but ok.
