Syma x5sw is great for beginners, that was my first quad. If you have more money, check out list of top drones under $1000.

I have bought Syma X8G only few days ago, after reading this review. What I can say for now is mostly positive. I think that's the best drone you can get for ~$150. Highly suggesting it for someone who is getting into world of drones. Best luck!
