    Go into misc settings and change arm from AUX to stick. Also before you arm check everything under receiver test, have you flashed the KK board yet?

    Hahaha, I was referring to using a ducted fan design with helicopter motors and some sort of 5-7 blade steep pitch prop.

    They look fine, and the reviews are good, but if you could find one with internal shaft (no shiny metal rod poking up) it would give you less problems down the road. They have a threaded piece that bolts on instead. I'd get the 820kv is possible in case you decide to upgrade.

    Not sure what they mean by 10.11 probably 10-11. You can use 10''x4.7 or 11''x4.5 just the same as 12''x3.3.

    How big is your frame and what are you planning on lifting? A 4S, ~900kv - 12''x 3.3 prop combo is generally good for this class of quadcopter.
