Yeah, the guy was recently arrested for it, as the projectile is counted as an object being dropped, and he certainly did not take reasonable precautions as he was flying it outside and in the open. That was the video they were referencing in the press release.
Exactly as he said. Though you could test it (providing you know for sure that the red is supposed to be 3.7Vin) by shorting the white to ground, but it is best that you check your manual, or find one.
You might be better to use a Mobius or Runcam. Or if you want an all in one FPV and action cam setup this is a REALLY nice camera as far as all in one systems go.
Exactly as stated. I'd like to add that buying everything at once can save you a TON of money. If in doubt just run your parts list across us here and we'll do what we can hahaha.
DC motors on quads don't need ESCs, so they use transistors (maybe FETs, Mike has me questioning that now hahaha), and they do burn out. You can check them with many multimeters.

HAHAHAHAHA, I am starting to think that this is how we all started off, got me laughing as I always took things apart that I should not have, and found out that TVs and CRT monitors are a force to be reckoned with hhahaha.
Never used the P2, but go to your receiver test and check that you are bound, no channels need to be reversed, and make sure you turn the radio BEFORE the transmitter. If this does not fix it I'll help you look into it a little deeper.
Hahaha, ignore my post then. I had been up for a little over 50 hours when I made it, so I really had no idea what the thread was talking about after reading it all twice hahaha.
I said BJTs as that is what the cheaper toy quads that I buy use (I am really cheap when it comes to toy quads)...
Looks like a really great deal. Had I the money I'd snatch it up instantly hahahaha. What did you pay for that frame?
A note to anyone interested: It is easy to change a Turnigy 9xR from mode 1 to mode 2 by opening it up, taking the 4 screws out of the joy stick and unplugging the two...
