    First Build kit.

I went for the one you recommended @Jackson. Watching YouTube videos and it seems the new one can also monitor the battery voltage. This compares the older and the new FlySky FS-i6X

No plans to fly FPV any time soon, so the range will be eyesight controlled. :-)

How to get my drone to fly for 3 to 5 hours??

Interesting read. @Chiapa33 I think battery technology is set to improve in leaps and bounds over the next 5 years with all the effort Elon and others are putting into autonomous vehicles. Personally I am definitely not ready to remove my prop guards :-) But the point on managing the charge rate...

    New To Drones

Welcome to the group. I think the Syma X5C-1 is a much better proposition for now. I am as a new member with a toy and I am still learning. You clearly have the gear but for now we are on the learner slopes. My suggestion is box up the flashy drone and learn on the Syma X5C-1, its said to be a...

Need to upgrade my PC... on the cheap

The good old days :-) I have a 51/4 inch disk as a coffee mat. Just like living history, such an exciting business to be in where year on year it changes and reinvents itself. Wordstar on one disk and your document on the other. Then again maybe not such good old days :-)
