Newb Trying to decide on first Drone buy

I had the syma x8c I think it was 3 years ago and it was my first "real" drone, don't know about the newer ones but that old one flew good for a heavy tank with brushed motors lol.

I've never had a gps drone so I couldn't say lol. However my gps module finally got here, after I solder it into my f7 fcb I should have my first.

In that case I would try the hubsan. Syma is good too though but the hubsan seems like it's actually upgradable with metal bearings.

    parts list

Yes it's for the 30x30 stack. It's also lighter than the 450 however it might break easier but replacement arms are readily available. The 8" carbon frame also looks more modern for freestyle but the old 450 is very good for aerial photography. The beauty of this hobby and building your own is...

    Bug 3 on Amazon £25!

Oh I see it now I guess the first picture is a different angle lol and with a blue canopy. That must be a U.K. only deal as I can't find it that cheap here in the states. I just recently gave away a bugs 3 mini as I had no use for it but it was every bit as good as the original bugs 3 except...

    motors ? cw/ccw

I've never had the nuts come loose during mid flight but I have had a problem where the nut got stuck and it twisted off the motor shaft when I was loosening it. Those nylon locking nuts that come with the motors don't come loose on their own.

    What is trim?

Think of trim as mechanically holding the stick slightly in the direction you add trim. There is no code lol.

    Newbie Drone build help needed

Yep cut the connector off. The orange is your signal wire, solder it into your fcb for the corresponding motor. The red is actually a ground wire, you can solder it into any ground on pcb or fcb. Some people just remove the ground wire altogether it doesn't seem necessary lol.

How do I bind my drones

Oh OK good to know, I'm getting the T16 for Christmas and it'll be a learning curve lol but at least it's compatible with my flysky recievers. Gonna try a tbs crossfire with it too, try the one kilometer challenge. Time to step up the game!

How do I bind my drones

To bind the flysky it's so easy, you just hold the bind button on reciever, power up reciever, then hold bind button on transmitter and power it up. Is the procedure different for frsky?
