RE : Printer layers shifting issue

I brought up this issue on one of my last threads. This thread is a follow-up as well as a weird solution possibly applicable to certain models...…………... Printer : Creality Ender 3 Slicer : Cura 4.3, occasionally Cura 3.4.1 OK. I was printing Dino, the dinosaur from Flinstone. The model...

    Pretty looking pot

Quite elegant, in my opinion. Like the other one I printed, many holes were plugged with plastic. Took some time to pick them clean. Notice the pot has 2 layers, outer and inner layer.

    3D printing problem

I don't have the training to do the stepper driver amperage. I have to pass. Nozzle temperature is and has always been 200 degree set in my slicer. I could up it to 215. I know how to do that in my slicer. I have also up my bed temperature to 60 in my slicer instead of the default 50 degree...

    3D printing problem

I spoke too soon. Slice it upside down does not really help. The shifting right is not so obvious, but it is still there. No good for me to have a defective base.

    3D printing problem

To elaborate further : If I have Superman round base placed in the grid the "normal" orientation, printing will fail for reason stated in post #1. If I place it upside down (inverted) on the grid, it will come out fine. So, you might say...… "well, do it upside down then." Point is: 1. To...

    3D printing problem

Printer : Creality Ender 3 Slicer : Cura 4.3 I am having this problem since day one. If I were to print a platform/base, regardless of shape, circular, square, or rectangular, I would encounter the same problem. Problem : The layers are NOT exactly printed over the previous one. After a few...

    3D vase

Size : 70% Height : about 4 and 1/2 in. tall. It's hollow inside. From start to finish, absolutely no supports used. Think I'll print a larger one next.

    Syma X5HC problem

Just a suggestion...…... check your drone battery. Drone low with battery will start blinking non-stop. Drone low in battery might not be able to connect with the transmitter.

    Vase - hollow inside

Had a gap between the Bowden tube and the nozzle. U-tube tutorial helped me clear that out. Back in business.

    Vase - hollow inside

Thank you. Right now it seems to me my Ender 3 is acting up. First thing first.

    Vase - hollow inside

Unlike some stl files found in the net, this one is for "real."..….. hollow inside, not solid. Downside: Took over 10 hours to print, and it's only 3 inches tall. Nuts! My initial plan was to print a regular size first. If satisfactory, print a bigger size. Forget about that. Many "holes" were...

    3D printed model....... dragon egg

Inside the model, there was a cylindrical support from the bottom to the top. That, I suppose, is to keep the model in an upright position while printing. A little care needed when removing the bottom support without breaking it.

    3D printed model....... dragon egg

The object on the left of the screenshot is actually just a support during printing. It looks nice, so I am using it as a holder for the dragon egg. dragon egg on its holder...………………...

    3D prints with movable parts................

They may not be as "glamourous" as Superman, Batmen, Woverine, Mickey Mouse etc etc, but I can play with these.

    Batman---3D model

No fun looking at a all black batman. Think I'll paint the bat logo at his chest and his belt both yellow. On this one, I wish I have the "stuff" to smooth the body. Maybe I was using the cheaper pla. No desire to print another one. Took more than 24 hrs.

    ooops.................

Creality Ender 3 The power box has 2 input voltage options : 115 or 230. It was set at 230 and I have been using that. It's ok, I assume since I have printed at least half a dozen models since. Just to make sure.

    3D printing question

Damn! I didn't know this was possible. Imagine the time I could have saved printing several different parts of the same model? Thank you.

    3D printing question

Printer …………… Ender 3 Slicer...……………. Cura 4.3 I have a 3d model which consists of 2 different stl files. File 1 is the Top and File 2 is the Bottom. Question : Can I import both stl files to Cura and can Cura able to slice them at the same time ? Assuming the build bed is large enough for...
